Biography of Wang Yizhi
Associate Chief Physician (Associate Professor) of Integrative Medicine, Medical Consultant of the Hong Kong Academy of Sciences, Honorary Doctorate of Medicine of the Hong Kong Academy of Sciences, graduated from the Department of Medicine of Tongji Medical University, Wuhan, China in 1963. He is now the director of Wang Yizhi Chiropractic/needle picking clinic in Huajing New Town, Tianhe District, Guangzhou City, the consultant of Guangdong Lanjin Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncture and Moxibustion Research Institute, the researcher of Hong Kong Chinese Medical Research Association, the leader of the former scientific research collaborative group of needle picking therapy in Guangzhou area, and the director of needle picking department of Guangzhou Overseas Chinese Hospital attached to the School of Medicine of Jinan University. Main performance: After graduating from university, he worked as a surgeon in Guangdong Provincial People's Hospital, and then transferred to Guangzhou Overseas Chinese Hospital attached to Jinan University Medical College in 1979, where he founded the Needle Pick Department and has been serving as the director of the department.
