Brief introduction of brick

Types of bricks

Brick is a rectangular stone used for building walls, made of clay, mostly red, commonly known as red brick and blue brick.

Brick wall thickness

The thickness of a brick wall is usually called the multiple of the brick. Because the length of brick is 240mm, a brick-thick wall is also called 24 walls, a brick-and-a-half-thick wall is also called 37 walls, and a brick-and-a-half-thick wall is also called one or two walls.

Brick material

Brick is the most traditional masonry material. From clay as the main raw material, it has gradually developed to the utilization of industrial wastes such as coal gangue and fly ash, and at the same time, it has developed from solid to porous hollow, from sintering to non-sintering.
