Why is there a traditional culture?

Traditional culture is the most valuable practical experience of predecessors in past dynasties. In the era of lack of pens and paper, they spent their efforts on tortoise shells, bamboo slips, stone walls and silks, and even sacrificed their lives to seek scriptures in foreign countries, just to leave the most precious experience and life experience to future generations.

These classics can be handed down all the time and often stand the test of history. Isn't there a saying that "if you don't listen to the old man, you will suffer"? As future generations, we should know what these classics are about, and don't look down on them just because we are superior to our predecessors in some aspects. Otherwise, I took a big detour and wasted my precious life, and I didn't know it at all.
