China regards some traditional festivals, such as Mid-Autumn Festival and Dragon Boat Festival, as legal holidays, and cancels the May Day Golden Week, which is of historical significance.

On the one hand, our traditional festivals should be paid attention to, because everyone in China should remember and carry forward our culture, which helps us to be strong and proud in front of the world. On the other hand, due to human destruction, the global environment is getting worse and worse. During May Day, too many people crowded at the same time, destroying the natural landscape and historical sites. Therefore, the new policy helps to protect the environment.
