Similarities and differences between digital government and electronic government

Regarding the relationship between digital government and e-government, the definitions of the two are different in the early stage. "E-government" emphasizes information-based government; E-government refers to government management and service based on information, that is, e-government. At present, the international community (including the United Nations) has drawn an equal sign between the two.

The content framework of e-government mainly includes three elements: government data resources, government business collaboration and government public services, in which data is the core, collaboration is the key and service is the key.

The supporting framework of national e-government mainly includes four systems: infrastructure, standards and norms, policies and regulations and security, which is the key supporting condition for the healthy development of digital government.

The construction of digital government needs to make simultaneous efforts in five aspects: public * * * data service, overall promotion mechanism, system standards, laws and regulations construction, and information security, so as to build a national chess game and * * * government information system project and build a service-oriented government that people are satisfied with.

This explanation can also be regarded as a semi-official cognition of the relationship between the two. It has certain reference value.
