The Inheriting Significance of Tajik Eagle Dance

Eagle dance is a distinctive traditional dance form in Chinese folk dance, which has high artistic value. With the acceleration of modernization, these precious folk arts are losing their living soil and facing difficulties, which need to be protected and rescued urgently.

The state attaches great importance to the protection of intangible cultural heritage. On May 20th, 2006, Tajik Eagle Dance was approved by the State Council to be included in the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage list.
