Origami folding method of dumplings
The method of folding paper into dumplings is as follows:
Prepare a square of paper. You can use colored paper or plain white paper.
Fold the paper diagonally, fold one corner to the other side of the diagonal, and then press lightly with your fingers to keep it folded.
Unfold the paper and you will see a diagonal crease. Fold the paper in half following the diagonal crease and fold the two corners to the center of the bottom edge. This will give you a diamond-like shape.
Take the two vertices and fold them inward to the bottom edge, giving the top half of the dumpling a triangular shape.
Then, take the two corners of the bottom edge and fold them inward to the bottom edge to form the bottom half of the dumpling.
Finally, fold the sharp corners of the left and right sides inward so that they are in the center of the dumpling and press lightly with your fingers to keep them in shape.
With these steps, you have successfully folded a paper dumpling! You can choose different colors of paper and add decorations such as ribbons or strings to make the paper dumplings more beautiful. This is an easy and fun craft making process for children and families to participate together. Hope you can enjoy the fun of folding paper into dumplings!
