What colors do beeswax have?

The colors of beeswax can be divided into yellow beeswax, blue beeswax, red beeswax, green beeswax, snow mountain beeswax, transparent colorless beeswax (semi-wax), black beeswax and white beeswax.

beeswax

Yellow beeswax is a very common beeswax, because the resin that forms beeswax is yellow, and other colors of beeswax will form other colors due to the influence of geological conditions.

Blue beeswax

Blue beeswax is called "Smurfs" in the industry. Due to long-term burial in blue soil layer (Oligocene stratum, loose sand, containing mica and calcium), it will turn blue under the influence of soil. This blue color will change with the light. Blue beeswax is blue in ordinary light, but if you look up from another angle, it will turn into pink blue. If we shine strong light on it, it will turn blue. Blue beeswax is mainly produced in Iran and is very rare.

Red beeswax

Red beeswax, commonly known as cherry red water (silk) wax, is very popular because of its rich colors. Red beeswax is very similar to the rose in South Red Agate in appearance.

Green beeswax

Green beeswax is a rare variety in beeswax. Few people know that there is green in beeswax. The beads of green beeswax are even and bright, like emeralds.

Planting beeswax in snow-capped mountains

The beeswax of the snow-capped mountains is sallow in color, and there are many streamline lines on the surface. It is precisely because of these flow patterns that it is called snow mountain planting beeswax. This kind of beeswax is still relatively expensive.

Transparent and colorless beeswax (semi-wax)

Many people wonder, isn't amber transparent? Transparent beeswax is not completely transparent, but it is transparent in some places and opaque in some places. We call this amber half pearl and half wax.

Black beeswax

Black beeswax is also a relatively rare beeswax. The characteristic of black beeswax is that it is black directly with the naked eye. If you put it under strong light, you can see the bright spot of Burgundy. In addition, its hardness is higher than normal, and it is wear-resistant, acid-base resistant, not easy to be corroded, stable and not easy to crack, so it is especially favored by people in the industry.

cera alba

White beeswax is milky white and has a strong pine fragrance. Good quality white beeswax is similar to ivory, and the value of good quality white beeswax is much higher than that of yellow beeswax.
