How to connect UPS uninterruptible power supply correctly in actual operation?

Because the general load has surge current at the moment of starting, and the power components inside UPS have certain safe working areas, although we have certain margin when selecting components, excessive surge current will shorten the service life of components and even cause damage to components. Therefore, the damage caused by surge current should be minimized when using.

Generally, when UPS bypasses, it has strong impact resistance. We can take advantage of this feature and start it by the following ways: first, send the commercial power to UPS through bypass to make it work, and then turn on the loads one by one, first turn on the load with large surge current, then turn on the load with small surge current, and then turn on the UPS panel to make it work in inverter mode. Never start all loads at the same time, and never start the machine with loads.

2) Closing sequence

The shutdown sequence is as follows: first, turn off the loads one by one, then turn off the UPS panel, so that the UPS is in bypass operation, and the charger continues to charge the battery pack. If you need UPS output, please turn off UPS completely, and then disconnect the input power.

Generally, the standby UPS has no load detection function in the power supply state, and only relies on the input fuse for protection. Although UPS may continue to work in the commercial power state, once the commercial power turns to the battery inverter, UPS will shut down due to overload protection, which will cause UPS damage in severe cases. Long-lasting UPS uses external battery pack to extend the power supply time, and the quality of external battery directly affects the discharge time of UPS. Therefore, when using long-lasting UPS, special attention should be paid to the use and maintenance of batteries.

Because the long-lasting UPS external battery is separated from the UPS host and connected with each other through battery wiring, there will be no problem in normal use, but when the user installs or moves the machine, it needs to be reconnected. Pay attention to the following questions when connecting:

② Do not connect the battery to the host first, and then connect it after the UPS mains input generates charging voltage.
