Simple method of making bronzes by hand
Material: black mud, large iron sheet, 150g yellow powder.
Steps:
First, draw a picture on the big iron piece according to the shape of the bronze ware, then cut it out and wrap it in a small clay ball of the right size.
Take the yellow powder and put it in a clean bowl for later use.
Gently compress the mud bag and drawings into a flat state in black mud.
Coat the sand table with thin oil for use.
Then, put it into the mold and coat a thin layer of oil around the mold again.
Arrange the charcoal pile, put the area left by the mold on the charcoal pile, light the charcoal fire and bake it directly for about 30 minutes at a temperature of about 500 degrees. Be careful not to burn the surface.
After baking, take the mold out of the charcoal pile, carefully cut it, and take out the formed bronze ware in the mud bag.
Bronzes can be taken out after being soaked in palladium water for a long time.
Finally, put the bronze ware into yellow powder and knead it, showing the dark color of antique temperament.
This is a relatively simple method of making bronzes, which can be completed by using some daily necessities and tools. Of course, through more unique processing or technological operation, the finished bronzes will be more beautiful and colorful.
