Travel notes of traditional villages

The Baiyan Mountain System in the southeast of Yinzhou District, Ningbo has beautiful scenery, and many ancient villages are hidden among the mountains. Most of these ancient villages are surrounded by mountains and rivers, hidden outside the city, and are excellent places for summer vacation and leisure. Among them, there is such an ancient village, hidden in the mountains, with a quiet environment, which is rarely mentioned by outsiders. It seems to be a paradise. However, here, bamboo forests are intensively cultivated, clear streams are flowing, birds are singing, and ancient trees are lush, which makes people linger.

This village is located in the southeast of Hengxi Town. The residents in the village are mainly Wu and Xu, so they are called Wu Xucun. Although Wuxu Village belongs to Hengxi Town, it is only a few hundred meters away from Chengyang Village in Dongqianhu Town, and it is more convenient to start from Chengyang Village. There is a winding mountain road between Chengyang Village and Wuxu Village, and there is a mountain stream by the roadside. The stream is clear and the environment is cool, so it is a good place to play with water and enjoy the cool. There are bridges and pavilions along the road, old and new, all scenery.

The ancient bridge spans the stream, from Wuxu Village in Hengxi to Chengyang Village in the east, which is called Wuxu East Pavilion. This bridge was built in the Qing Dynasty. It is a single-hole stone arch bridge. The whole bridge is made of stones of different sizes. The bridge deck is flat and the bridge is covered with green vines. Although it has experienced vicissitudes, its structure is stable. Now it is a district-level cultural relics protection unit in Yinzhou. On the east side of Wu Xudong Bridge, there is a single-eave hard-topped bungalow named Qiaoting, in which there are Buddhist niches.

The new pavilion is called Shamao Pavilion, which is surrounded by mountains and streams, and has turned a corner here. There is a huge square stone in the stream, which looks like an ancient gauze hat, hence the name pavilion. Shamao Pavilion is a hexagonal pavilion donated by the great-grandson Wu and Rong-hua Wu of Zhong, the seven heirs of Dameishan Summer. There are stone steps leading to the stream along the pavilion. Besides shamao stone, there are some rugged stones in the stream. The stream flows between the stones, forming a shallow waterfall. The stones are cool and can enjoy the cool and rest.

Wuxu Village consists of two villages, Wujiashan in the north and JOE in the south. Panshan highway runs through the middle, forming an "S" shape. The biggest feeling of Wujiashan Village is quiet, green and simple. Houses with blue bricks and green tiles are located on both sides of the highway. These houses are in disrepair and look shabby. But the path between houses is covered with Chinese milk vetch, which shows the tenacity and beauty of life in the wilderness.

There is a camphor tree in the north of the village, which is hundreds of years old. Due to the erosion of wind and frost, the trunk has become hollow and shriveled, and the upper part of the branch has been cut off by the waist. However, many new branches have grown from the side, stubbornly supporting a new green. There is a path next to the ancient camphor tree, with green vines on both sides, just like the entrance to the Peach Blossom Garden. Through this hole, you will be suddenly enlightened, followed by an endless sea of bamboo.

Xujiacun is located in a depression in the south of Wujiashan Village. This hill is almost round, like a big oven, and the houses in the village are built on the surrounding hillside, scattered like biscuits stuck in the oven. Maolin xiuzhu is also around the mountain. Standing on the highway, the village is blocked by tall and straight bamboo, so it is difficult to take a full picture. Sunlight shines through the bamboo forest on the mottled houses without breaking, but there is a quiet artistic conception of Lin Jingshan.

Wu Xucun, formerly known as Wujiashan, is one of the five original mountains in Yindong. The other four mountains are Yujiashan, Shan Zhi, Jinshan and Gongyue Mountain. In addition to Gong Yue, four of the five mountains in Yindong are named "Meiling" respectively. Why is there such a strange naming method?

It turns out that during the Han Dynasty and Yuan Dynasty, a Taoist named Mei Fu lived in seclusion in Wuxu Village. He refined the elixir here every day to save lives, and later died, so people called the mountains in this area Meiling, and all the mountains were crowned Meiling.

Later generations built many pavilions, temples, temples and other historical sites named after the word "Mei" in order to commemorate the achievements of the immortal Mei Fu. Meiling Temple at the head of Wuxu village is one of them, and it still maintains its original style.

There is a cement pavement in front of the ancient camphor tree in Wujiashan village, where you can park. This will be a good campsite if the vehicles leave. Set up a tent here, you can not only enjoy the tranquility of the mountain, but also feel the simplicity of the mountain. You can get up in the morning and breathe the fresh air with morning dew. You can also walk to Wanghaige behind Jinshan Village to watch the sunrise.

Generally speaking, under the protection of the bamboo sea, Wuxu Village has a fresh and quiet environment. Although it is adjacent to Yangcun, a city where network celebrities punch cards on the banks of Dongqian Lake, few people come, and it is an undeveloped "virgin land". With a little carving, I believe Wuxu Village will also become a beautiful rural tourist attraction.
