The difference between polishing and cutting a sword

Grinding the sword is to make the whole blade look beautiful, while cutting is to calcine the knife to grind steel. Grinding swords can be divided into "underground research" and "scholar research". "Underground research" is not only to shape and polish the foundation of swords with grindstones; "Scholars' research" is not only the fine grinding of the sword, but also the process of further beautifying the blade. The following introduction of grinding process is based on Honami process. Cutting means that when the knife is burning, the iron or steel on the surface will be oxidized or have high carbon content and become brittle. As the saying goes, sharpening the knife is not a mistake for the woodcutter, that is, grinding these off at the knife edge to expose the steel part, which will be sharper.
