Aircraft route classification

Route type: it can be divided into three categories: international routes, domestic routes and regional routes.

(1) International airline: refers to the airline connecting two or more countries. The transportation on international routes is international transportation. If the departure station, stopover station and terminal of a flight are on foreign territory, the flight is called international transportation.

(2) Regional routes: refer to routes between regions with special status in a country, such as routes between Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan.

(3) Domestic routes: the routes within a country can be divided into trunk lines, feeder lines and local routes.
