Where is Shudi now?

Bashu, also known as Shudi, refers to the Sichuan Basin and its surrounding areas, located in the southwest of China, and generally includes Sichuan, Chongqing and its surrounding areas, namely, the central and eastern Sichuan Province, most of Chongqing, southwestern Shaanxi and western Hubei. The main residents are the Han nationality, which is also a part of the land of the Han nationality. Historically, Bashu area, Hanzhong area and Guanzhong area were the battlegrounds of China's ancient feudal dynasty.

Extended data:

The Bashu area in Tianfu, Southwest China has been rich and prosperous since ancient times, so divide and rule of Bashu has always been the historical mainstream before the Yuan Dynasty. However, with the three major upheavals in the Song, Yuan, Ming and Ming Dynasties, the Sichuan Basin was destroyed by tug-of-war, especially the three tug-of-war and even the massacre of song and yuan war and Zhang Ruchuan and the Qing army.

Therefore, since the Yuan Dynasty, after the great population shrinkage, Bashu area no longer needs to be divided and ruled, and a big Sichuan province has gradually emerged, including the mountainous areas of central Sichuan, March 8th and western Sichuan.
