Is it better to be a traditional person or an open person?

I think we should look at this problem in two ways. Traditional people can win the favor of the older generation and add a lot of points in the eyes of their elders. But among young people, we still have to let go. Otherwise, others will feel too rigid and unsociable. In a word, we should treat different people in different ways.
