1 Lao Tzu

Famous philosopher and thinker. The founder of Taoism. A book, Tao Te Ching, pioneered ancient philosophical thinking in China. His philosophical thinking was recognized and respected by many people.

2 Confucius

China's greatest philosopher, thinker and educator. The founder of Confucianism.

He summarized the basic thinking of the Chinese people and became the originator of an original set of belief systems. His philosophy, rooted in the morality of life and the political concept of using moral examples to educate and govern people, has permeated Chinese life and culture for 2,000 years and has had a great influence on many people around the world.

3 Mencius

China's famous ancient thinker, he was born in the era of the transformation of China's slavery to feudalism, is the representative of Neo-Confucianism, which inherits and develops Confucianism founded by Confucius, and is the second great master of Confucianism. His teachings, as set forth in the Mencius, were admired in China for many centuries. He was often referred to as a "sub-sage", i.e., second only to Confucius in wisdom.

4 Qu Yuan

A native of Chu during the Warring States period, Qu Yuan was the greatest patriotic poet in Chinese history. He spent his life worrying about the country and the people, and did not yield to evil forces. When he saw that his political ideas could not be accepted by the mediocre King Huai of Chu, and that the powerful Qin army had finally defeated Chu, he threw himself into the Miluo River with grief and indignation at the age of sixty-two.

5 Zhuge Liang

The outstanding statesman and militarist of the Three Kingdoms era. He helped Liu Bei establish the state of Shu, served as prime minister, and presided over the military and political affairs of Shu Han for a long time, and played an important role in the political and economic development of the southwest region. "Bow to exhaustion, undeath" is the evaluation of Zhuge Liang.

6 Bao Gong

Name Bao Zheng, the word Xiren, Hefei people in the Song Dynasty, once served as the Kaifeng prefectural magistrate, is the Song Dynasty is famous for the clean official. He was a famous clean official in the Song Dynasty. He had an iron face, was fair and impartial in law enforcement, and did justice to the people, winning the hearts of the people.

7 Yue Fei

The famous general of the Southern Song Dynasty who fought against the Jin Dynasty was a native of Tangyin, Xiangzhou (now Henan). He led the Yue Family Army to fight against the Jin Dynasty, but was later framed by the surrenderist Qin Hui and others, and was killed.

8 Wen Tianxiang

Southern Song famous minister against the Yuan, literary scholar. Baoyou four years of the first grade. Emperor Gong Deyou first year (1275) the Yuan army pressed Lin'an, he organized a militia of ten thousand people in Ganzhou, north of the king. In the following year, he went to the Yuan camp to negotiate peace with the right minister, but he was detained and coerced to go north and escaped to Zhenjiang, and then he went to Fuzhou by sea, and then he and Zhang Shijie and other people installed Zhao Zang as the emperor (Duanzong). Later, he marched into Jiangxi and called on the people to continue to fight against the Yuan, but was defeated and retreated to Guangdong. He was captured in the first year of Xiangxing, and later imprisoned in Dudu (present-day Beijing), where he compiled the "Guide Book" and composed the "Song of Zhengqi". In December, 19th year of the reign of Emperor Zhiyuan, Mr. Wenshan was inaugurated. Mr. Wenshan has a complete collection of his poems, many of which recounted the perilous experiences, bold and unrestrained, and is known as the history of poetry, in which the sentence "life from the beginning of time who have no death, and leave the heart of the danzhi shouhanqing" is especially recited by the later generations.

9 Kangxi

Qing Shengzu Ren Emperor, the most famous emperor of the Qing Dynasty. He was a great statesman. All his life, he was benevolent and filial, diligent and studious, with outstanding political achievements. Emperor Kangxi actively resisted the invasion of foreign powers, precise borders with Russia, two personal conquests of Jungar, and settled the world, completing the unification of the Chinese nation. He was called the first emperor of the ages by the later generations.

10 Tan Jiyi Tong

Tan Jiyi Tong was a bourgeois reformist political commentator of the late Qing Dynasty. He was dissatisfied with the corruption of the Qing government, and advocated the reform of the Qing Dynasty. Politically, he attacked the authoritarian regime and the principle of the rule of law, philosophically, he inherited Wang Fuzhi's idea that "the Way is not separate from the vessel", and he borrowed the term "Ether" from physics to indicate the origin of the world. His poems are robust in style and rich in patriotic spirit. His works are compiled in the Complete Works of Tan Sitong.
