Introduction of Traditional Chinese Medicine

Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), abbreviated as Chinese medicine, belongs to a branch of traditional medicine in the world's health care system, which has a history of thousands of years, and broadly includes Chinese medicine of the Han Chinese, Chinese medicine of Japan, Eastern medicine of the Korean Peninsula (i.e., Korean medicine in today's Korea, Koryo medicine in Korea), and Tibetan medicine, Mongolian medicine, Virology, Chaoyang medicine, Yi medicine, Zhuang medicine, Miao medicine, and Dai medicine in mainland China. In a broad sense, it includes the Chinese medicine of the Han Chinese, the Chinese medicine of Japan, the Eastern medicine of the Korean Peninsula (i.e., the Korean medicine of today's South Korea, the Korean medicine of the DPRK), as well as the ethnic medicine of the mainland China such as the Tibetan medicine, the Mongolian medicine, the Vedic medicine, the Korean medicine, the Yi medicine, the Zhuang medicine, the Miao medicine, and the Dai medicine. In a narrow sense, it refers exclusively to Chinese medicine.
