The designer broke up the marble leftovers in the courtyard and repaved them with the traditional method of stone grinding, not only preserving the traditional craftsmanship of the past, but also incorporating the beauty of modern design.

The cabinets are old furniture bought by the owner from the second-hand market, which looks very retro and brings out the flavor of the old house.

Kitchen

The kitchen is located in the center area of the whole house, and the designer wanted to keep the space transparent, deliberately using the window frames of the old house to increase the sense of time and space penetration, connecting the kitchen with the surrounding of the old house.

In the center of the kitchen, a very modern large center island is designed, where the homeowner can gather with friends for dinner or invite three or two friends to sip tea together. In fact, the good life is so simple, a family, a room, a small yard, a pot of tea, all these can bring us full of happiness.

The black iron surface intertwined with the diamond-shaped display cabinet, put the homeowner's collection of handicrafts and books, you can also put some wine and household items, enough to let everyone here to drink and chat.

Bathroom

The designer found a discarded car skylight from an automobile repair shop and installed it on top of the master bedroom bathroom, so that the light from the outdoors can fall directly on the bathroom. The best thing in the world is to accept the gift of nature. In the hot summer, when it rains, the skylight can be opened so that the homeowner can enjoy a cool rain shower.

The bedroom has a rotating wall that opens up to bring a lot of light into the multi-purpose room, which allows children to enjoy natural light indoors, and blends the entire interior with nature, creating a different kind of outdoor peach garden-like coziness. The roof maintains the appearance of the original house, the designer installed a large circle LED lights on the top of the whole, with a sense of technology chandeliers and age-old sense of the roof intertwined with each other, so that people lie in this space, every moment will have a different thought, a different dream.
