Praise and encourage students, don't pester small mistakes, and don't ask students to be 100% correct. Teachers' evaluation of students has a strong guiding role. Evaluation should play an active and encouraging role. Appropriate evaluation is to affirm students and encourage them to be more interested in "speaking" and forge ahead. But improper evaluation will make students lose self-confidence and self-esteem, and may never speak again. My practice is that no matter which student is willing to stand up and speak, no matter how he speaks, my lowest evaluation of him is "good". Second, strengthen oral English. Conversation theory makes it difficult for students to speak English because of the differences and different sounds and shapes between Chinese and English. Teachers should inspire students to understand the urgency of improving oral expression. Help students overcome all kinds of difficulties and let them have the confidence and expectation of "speaking". At the same time, pay attention to the guidance of methods, explain to students in class without losing time, guide students to understand and use, and make them interested and have original intentions. Interest is the best teacher, so we should pay attention to the interest, vividness, pertinence and application of oral materials. In class, teachers should create more practical opportunities for students. At the beginning, the teacher should make necessary hints or listen to the teacher's demonstration first, or listen to others, so that students can understand what to say and how to say it. Let the students listen clearly and enough. Only by listening correctly can students say yes, and only by saying yes can they generate interest and desire and actively participate in the practice of speaking. Gradually transition to full English. Training forms should be varied. Create a learning atmosphere, let students form the habit of "speaking", and at the same time have something to say, and turn what they say into what they want to say, which will make them more interested and make them feel that they are constantly practicing and innovating. Third, the combination of learning and application, cultivating students' oral ability is one of the fundamental tasks of English teaching, and the purpose of helping to learn English is to communicate in English. In the process of application, gradually deepen the understanding and internalization of new knowledge, and further deepen oral English teaching. Teachers should encourage and guide students, use the learned daily communication terms, and let students have simple communication around topics such as greetings, requests, telephone calls, seeing a doctor, asking for directions, suggestions and invitations. These topics are helpful for students to talk more and develop good habits of speaking.
