Does the rural self-squeezed oil in the market meet the edible oil standard?

Supermarket oil should refer to commodity edible oil, and rural self-squeezed oil is the edible oil squeezed by farmers themselves. These two kinds of oils are mainly different in oil extraction technology and raw materials, while the raw materials are only slightly different in cleanliness, and there is not much essential difference. What matters is not these two points, but the quality of the oil, one is safe, the other is full of fragrance, and each has its own advantages.

Commercial vegetable edible oil sold in supermarkets

Let's talk about the edible oil sold in supermarkets, and the goods packaged in plastic barrels or plastic bottles with registered trademarks. There are many brands and varieties. According to the raw materials, there are edible oils such as soybeans, peanuts, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds and rapeseed, as well as olive oil, tea oil, corn germ oil, grape seed oil and linseed oil. According to the process, there are cold pressed oil, refined oil and blended oil. Among them, cold pressing oil is an antique oil pressing method, refined oil is a leaching method, and blended oil is a mixture of two or more oils.

The main process of commercial edible oil is leaching, which has high oil yield and almost completely crushes raw materials. Then separated with light gasoline, and finally refined. Refined oil is clean in addition to high oil yield. In other words, refined vegetable oil has only oil and no other substances. The smell of peanuts, sesame seeds and sunflower, which people are used to, is completely gone in oil. Aflatoxin, pollution residue and even the ingredients that people are worried about are gone.

It is worth mentioning that blending oil. The composition of blending oil is hard to say clearly. It is marked with soybean oil, peanut oil or other oils. As long as there is the word "blending", it is basically not labeled vegetable oil. In that case, why not buy oil directly? Blending oil is very cheap, because the cost is low, much lower than peanuts, soybeans and sunflower seeds. The main ingredients are low-cost raw materials such as rice bran oil, soybean meal oil and palm oil, and some regular oil is added. Adding peanut oil is peanut blended oil, adding soybean is soybean blended oil, and so on. Of course, the proportion is not very large.

The high-grade vegetable edible oil in the supermarket is only cold pressed oil, which is extracted by imitating the ancient method, and most of the nutrients are retained.

Self-squeezing oil in rural areas

There are two basic techniques for self-extracting oil in rural areas: one is manual, the other is mechanical, and both are cold pressing. Moreover, there is no filtration procedure of modern technology, and the ingredients of raw materials are largely retained, and the smell is very strong.

Self-extracted oil in rural areas mainly includes peanuts, soybeans, sesame seeds, rapeseed, cottonseed, camellia oleifera and other crops. The main features, in addition to the above-mentioned rich fragrance and clean materials, are all picked by farmers by hand, processed and watched, and personally collected oil. So it is safe to eat, but the oil yield is low, there are many impurities in the oil body, and the cooking oil is smoky.

Self-extracting oil in rural areas has certain security risks. Unlike factory refined oil, all substances in the oil, good or bad, have been filtered out. Even cold-pressed oil has a filtering procedure, and harmful substances will be removed. There is no such setting for self-extracting oil in rural areas. If there are harmful substances or residues in the material, there is no way to remove them. In particular, aflatoxin and peanut mildew are easy to produce and survive tenaciously. In addition to industrial processing can be completely removed, rural processing can not be removed.

Selection of plant edible oil

I need to repeat, the problem of aflatoxin residues. Rural oil production is not a batch, the owners are dozens of kilograms, and the west is more than ten kilograms. Everyone thinks their choice is clean, really clean. However, a few peanuts in 100 kg contain this substance, which will cause pollution. Not only pollute your own oil, but also the oil press will carry it, thus polluting your home. Because this amount is very small, I think there is no pollution. But after all, it is a toxin, which is difficult to destroy. More importantly, it accumulates in the body until it reaches a certain level.

So for the sake of safety, it is recommended to go to the supermarket to buy cooking oil, or even blended oil, so at least you don't have to worry about this risk. Of course, cold pressing oil is more expensive, reaching more than ten yuan a catty. But after careful calculation, squeezing oil by yourself, such as peanut oil, adds up to ten yuan a catty.
