Folk music shadow play absorbs the nutrition of local folk songs and minor tunes, and also integrates folk songs, national musical instruments, rap, storytelling and other artistic forms in Ningxia and northern Shaanxi, with distinctive local characteristics.

Hongshui Town is the birthplace of folk music top bowl dance, which integrates acrobatics and dance, and has the characteristics of nationality, folk, skill and appreciation.
