The origami course of folding stars

Stacking stars is a traditional art of origami. The following is a simple origami course:

1. Prepare a square piece of paper, the color and size can be selected according to your own preferences. Fold the paper in half, so that the two corners are folded in half towards the center point.

2. Fold up the lower half of the paper along the center line and align with the upper edge. Then turn the paper over, fold the upper half along the center line and align with the lower edge.

3. Fold both sides of the paper inward to form two small rectangles. Then turn the paper over and fold the lower two corners inward so that the lower side is aligned with the upper side.

4. Turn the paper over, and fold the upper two corners inward respectively, so that the upper and lower edges are aligned. Then turn the paper over and fold the lower two corners outward to form the bottom of the star.

5. Open the bottom of the star with your fingers or tools to form the shape of the star. If necessary, you can cut the top of the star into a small triangle with scissors to increase the three-dimensional sense of the star.

6. Repeat the above steps to make more stars. If necessary, you can stick two stars together with double-sided tape to increase stability.
