What is the role of the fuel supply system

Automobiles have become a necessary tool for everyone to travel. Of course, automobile knowledge is essential. In order to make it easier for you to understand this knowledge, today, Edge Shaw will introduce you to the question of what is the function of the fuel supply system. Those who are interested can learn about it, which may be helpful to you.

The function of the fuel supply system: according to the requirements of the engine various working conditions, prepare the necessary quantity and concentration of combustible mixture, supply the cylinder, so that it will be ignited and burned near the end of compression, expansion and work. Finally, the supply system should also discharge the products of combustion - exhaust gases - into the atmosphere. The fuel supply system consists of a fuel pump, fuel filter, fuel pressure regulator, fuel injector, cold start injector, and fuel pressure pulse attenuator. Electric fuel pump: provides fuel at the required pressure to the electronic fuel injection system. Fuel filter: filters out water and impurities in the fuel. Fuel pressure regulator: regulates the oil pressure in the fuel line, so that the difference between the pressure in the fuel line and the air pressure in the intake pipe, i.e. the injection pressure difference, remains constant. Pulsation damper: to keep the fuel system pressure stable. At present, the fuel supply system of gasoline engine has: carburetor-type fuel supply system; gasoline injection fuel supply system; liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) fuel supply system and other mixed fuel supply system. The carburetor-type fuel supply system is the traditional supply system for gasoline engines, which is still widely used, while the gasoline injection fuel supply system has been used in gasoline engines all over the country.
