Classic songs of ethnic minorities
Ode to Oroqen is one of the ethnic minorities with the least population in Northeast China, and it is a hunting nation, so their clothes, food, housing, walking, singing and dancing all show the characteristics of hunting nations. The music of the Oroqen nationality is mainly based on the tune of the folk song Zandawen, which is loud and clear, accompanied by long tones and vibrato, and beautiful. The lyrics of Zandawin are improvised, with simple language and strong feelings.
Qiduolie and Qiduolie of Hani nationality are famous folk songs of Hani nationality in Yunnan province, and they are also children's songs. This song was sung by the children together on the way up the mountain to cut wood and pick bamboo leaves. Through words such as "picking leaves", "cutting bamboo tubes" and "how beautiful the patterns on clothes are", the lively character of Hani children who love life and labor is displayed.
Dong cicada songs and Dong big songs originated in the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, with a history of more than 2,500 years. It is a folk chorus form with multi-voices, no command, no accompaniment and natural chorus in Dong nationality areas of China, and Song of Cicada is a representative repertoire of Dong nationality's big songs. The annoying cicada singing in summer simulates singing in Dong people's big songs, just like the sound of nature.
