Traditional festivals in Zagana village
The traditional festival in Zhagana is the' Wolf Mountain Festival', which lasts for seven days and is held in four groups. Three days ago, families took festive things to set up tents. On the fourth day, they set up a big tent (about 200 square meters) for the whole group. On the last three days, they drank, ate meat, sang and danced. Because the group is the largest, with 8-90 households and nearly 500 participants, lamas of Lasang Temple also participated in a group of Wolf Mountain Festival, so it is the most lively. The PP we took with the tent was a group of Wolf Mountain camps, but we couldn't go up the mountain because of the rain. It's rainy in Zhaga in summer, so you should check the weather forecast before you go, otherwise it will be rainy for several days after you go, and you can't drive to the mountain, so you will get something for nothing.
The specific schedule of the Langshan Festival is as follows: May 7th-13- Group III, May 14-20- Group II, May 2nd1-27-Group I, June 29th-July 5th-Lunar New Year.
