What are the "personal belongings" of ancient women that make people think?

In ancient times, many things were "invisible" personal belongings, mainly Chinese corsets, menstrual sheets, bathtubs and toilets.

First, Chinese-style corsets. Chinese-style chest covering is not uncommon in costume dramas, but few people know that Chinese-style chest covering culture has a long history in China traditional society. The earliest record is the period of Nu Wa Fuxi, which appeared after their brother and sister chose to get married for human reproduction. Whether in the past or in our current cognition, Chinese-style chest wrapping is an extremely private thing, unless it is the closest person. Its main function is to protect the chest, abdomen and other parts. Some Chinese corsets will be put in dark bags with some herbs or spices in them. Most Chinese corsets have tattoos, which gives people some expectations and wishes for peace and happiness.

Second, menstrual cloth. This is the same reason that we use women's sanitary napkins now, but it is not so hygienic and healthy compared with us now, because this kind of menstrual cloth was used repeatedly after washing in ancient times. This kind of catamenial cloth is longer than the sanitary napkin in our concept. Use during menstruation to relieve discomfort, and put it away for next use after drying.

Third, the bathtub. Bathtubs are nothing to be ashamed of in our opinion, but they are also very private objects for ancient women, so bathtubs are usually placed in boudoir and separated by screens.

Fourth, the toilet. In ancient times, going to the toilet was a very "shy" thing for both men and women, and the toilet also had many different names, such as "palace boy" and "nothing". For women, only wealthy families have such things as toilets, and they usually put them in boudoir.
