Why should preschool institutions in China conduct quality evaluation?

Kindergarten quality evaluation system is the standard of self-evaluation, supervision, improvement and perfection in comparison of preschool education, and it is also the focus of preschool education reform and development in various countries today. With the social progress and economic development, under the influence of modern conservation concepts, people pay more and more attention to the integration of conservation and education, not only paying attention to the care and nurturing of children's bodies, but also paying attention to the high-quality kindergarten care for children's all-round spiritual, emotional and intellectual development.

This paper studies and analyzes the basic connotation of related concepts of kindergarten care quality evaluation, adheres to the guiding ideology of combining education with protection, and expounds the evaluation concepts that should be adhered to in kindergarten care quality evaluation, such as adhering to modern care concepts, paying attention to the development of evaluation, emphasizing the diversification and interaction of evaluation subjects, and attaching importance to the evaluation of dynamic factors. On the basis of drawing lessons from the form of "kindergarten environmental quality assessment scale" in the United States, through dialogue, consultation and investigation with professionals at different levels, the "kindergarten care quality assessment index" was compiled as a tool to practice the problems related to kindergarten care quality assessment. The evaluation content includes not only the hardware evaluation of the park environment, facilities and equipment, but also the professional quality of nursing staff, the quality of interaction with children, and the improvement of children's original development level. A five-level evaluation scale was constructed from 65,438+07 items (including 55 indicators) in six areas: conservation environment, conservation facilities, caregivers, conservation system, conservation content and child development. Many evaluators participate in the evaluation process, and collect data through field observation and interviews to form evaluation results.

On the basis of practice, this paper analyzes and discusses the problems and thoughts found in the evaluation of kindergarten care quality, including paying too much attention to quantitative evaluation and ignoring developmental purposes; Accustomed to the evaluation of others, ignoring the value of self-evaluation; The evaluation subjects tend to be diversified, but the information of different subjects cannot be effectively collected.
