There are three kinds of thermometers, namely mercury thermometer, electronic thermometer and infrared thermometer, and their accuracy and use environment are different:

1, mercury thermometer:

Using mercury indicator to measure body temperature has the advantages of high repeatability, convenient use, relatively cheap price, little environmental influence and more accurate temperature measurement. But the outer layer of mercury thermometer is glass, which is fragile.

2, electronic thermometer:

The electronic thermometer needs to touch the skin, indicating that the operation mode is simple, the information is easy to read, and the temperature rises slowly when measuring the armpit, so many people feel inaccurate. In fact, this is related to the working principle of electronic thermometer. It's not inaccurate, but the temperature measurement needs to be suspended. Therefore, repeating the measurement several times or extending the temperature measurement time will improve its accuracy.

3, infrared thermometer:

Generally, infrared thermometers are divided into forehead thermometer and ear thermometer, and the measuring parts are different. These measurement methods do not need direct contact with the skin surface, but only need to keep close and pause for a second or two to read the temperature data.

The function of thermometer:

A thermometer can accurately judge and measure human body temperature.

It should be noted that the traditional thermometers are mercury thermometer and mercury thermometer, which have high stability and high accuracy of measurement results.

Ordinary electronic thermometers are expensive, while mercury thermometers are relatively cheap and stable.
