The story of the origin of Henan opera

Henan Opera, which originated in the middle and late Ming Dynasty, was developed on the basis of popular songs (folk songs and minor tunes) in Henan Province, and absorbed the singing arts of Beiqu Xiansuo, Shaanxi Opera and Zhou Pu Bangzi.

In the Qing Dynasty, during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty (1736- 1795), Bangzi opera became popular in Henan. According to the content recorded in the inscription at that time, the Ming Palace was the place where all classes of operas prayed for blessings, which was forgotten in the distant years, and I don't know when it was established.

In the fifth year of the Republic of China (1965438+February 2006 15), Hesheng Daily reported: "The Yicheng Office in the province was originally Jian Qing, the general staff of People's Zhuang in Kaifeng County. Over the years, the children in Liyuan have been famous for singing everywhere. "

Tianxing class, which has been performing in Kaifeng in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China, was originally a class run by Fengqiu with a long history. Many famous Henan opera actors came from this class. Famous actors Li, Yan, Lin, Shi Qianyun and Jia Biyun are also called the Five Gods. Other main actors are, Nie, Kong Xianyu, Zhang and Li Fakui.

After the Revolution of 1911, Henan Bangzi entered more and more cities to perform. Famous tea houses in Kaifeng, such as Zhixiang Tea House, Puqing Tea House, Chenghuai Tea House, Qingqing Tea House, Donghuo Temple Tea House and Le Tong Tea House, competed to invite Kanako Banshe to participate in the performance. After Henan Opera entered the teahouse, it competed with Huang Er (Peking Opera) who had already entered the teahouse.

In the 19th year of the Republic of China (1930), the five schools of Henan Opera competed with each other, forming a great fusion of vocals, especially the participation of intellectual reformers, which made Henan Opera learn from each other and compete with each other, thus creating a great prosperity period of Henan Opera. This fusion of Henan opera tunes immediately affected all parts of the country. This also laid a solid foundation for the great development of Henan Opera in China from 65438 to 0950.

In the 23rd year of the Republic of China (1934), Fan founded Yusheng Theater in Kaifeng.
