Five stages of land development

The five stages of map development are: original map, ancient map, modern map, modern map and electronic map.

Electronic map, that is, digital map, is a map stored and consulted digitally by computer technology.

The method of storing information in electronic map generally adopts vector image storage, and the map scale can be enlarged, reduced or rotated without affecting the display effect. Bitmap storage was used in the early days, but the map scale could not be enlarged or reduced. Modern electronic map software generally uses geographic information system to store and transmit map data, and there are other information systems.

Application mode

1, keyword search

The input box at the top of the map is used to enter the location you are looking for, and then press enter to search. You can find a specific location, such as "Beijing West Railway Station", or you can search for a certain kind of location, such as "hotel".

2. Select classified search.

If you don't want to use the keyboard, you can use the classification to search for the place you are looking for. Click "Classification" on the right side of the toolbar above the electronic map, and you will see some common location categories to choose from.
