Pure electric vehicle charging steps and precautions?

Step 1: After disconnecting the power of the pure electric vehicle, open the cover of the charging port, at this time, the charging indicator light on the motor tachometer is lit. At this time, the vehicle will not run when it is in "ON" gear.

The charging indicator on the motor tachometer is always on during charging, and will only go off when the charging plug is unplugged and the charging door is closed.

Step 2: Connect the charging plug to the charging socket on the vehicle.

Step 3: Connect the other end of the charging plug to the charging socket on the charging post. After swiping the card, the on-board charger will start charging the power pack. Or plug the household plug into a 220 V/16 A outlet for charging.

Step 4: To charge a very low-capacity power pack to full capacity, using 220 V AC power generally takes 7 h. The length of the charging time also depends on the state of charge ( SoC) of the power pack, with shorter charging times for higher state of charge and longer charging times for lower state of charge.

To see if the power pack is fully charged during charging, simply turn the key to "ACC" or "ON", and you can read it on the instrument panel.

When the needle is at 100%, the power pack is fully charged. When the pointer does not indicate near 100%, the power pack is not yet fully charged.

Precautions

Precautions for charging operation

①Due to the characteristics of the power battery and the problem of detecting accuracy, sometimes when the power battery pack is fully charged, the SoC meter pointer does not indicate 100%, and the range of this indication may be 98%-100%. Therefore, it can be assumed that the power pack is fully charged when the pointer of the SoC meter indicates more than 98% (including 98%).

②After unplugging the charging connector after charging, if you do not check the charging status of the SoC meter in time, but check it after a few hours or longer, then due to the characteristics of the power battery, the pointer of the SoC meter may indicate that it is below 98%, which doesn't mean that the power battery pack is faulty.

3The usable energy of the power pack will gradually decrease with the prolongation of the usage time. If the power pack has been used for a long time, the SoC meter pointer will not indicate near 100% when fully charged.

④During the charging process of the power pack, the battery management system will automatically control the size of the charging current, and when the power pack is fully charged, the battery management system will automatically terminate the charging of the power pack.

5. When the ambient temperature is too low, after plugging in the charging connector, the battery management system will automatically heat up the battery pack first, and charge the battery pack when the temperature is suitable.
