Are social existence and social life abstractions

Marx's concept of social existence still has strong academic theoretical value. In Marx's view, neither the existential theory of Hegel's logic nor Feuerbach's theory of sensibility can form the self-consciousness of social existence. Based on the new materialism and materialistic view of history, by promoting the existential revolution, Marx transformed the traditional abstract existence into social existence.

Social life is the system of life in human society. There is a distinction between a broad and a narrow sense. In the broad sense, it refers to the material and spiritual activities of the entire human society. In the narrow sense, it refers to the daily life of society outside the realm of the material production activities of society and the public **** activities of social organizations.

Social life in the broad sense of social life corresponding to economic life, political life, spiritual life, is the social daily life. The basic elements are divided into three parts: conditions of life activities, subjects of life activities and forms of life activities. It is a certain social relations as a link, in the society of economic, political, cultural, psychological, environmental factors under the integrated effect, the formation of a series of complex, multi-level social phenomena.
