This paper investigates and analyzes the situation of basketball teachers and venues, the arrangement of basketball teaching materials for total school physical education classes, the arrangement of basketball teaching materials for after-school training in secondary schools, the arrangement of basketball teaching materials for secondary school physical education classes, the participation of secondary school students in basketball activities, the situation of after-school training in secondary schools, the secondary school basketball competitions and extracurricular activities, the influence of Secondary school students to carry out basketball activities and other aspects of the investigation and analysis, put forward some corresponding countermeasures and recommendations. Keywords: secondary school basketball activities, current situation 1. Foreword quality education puts forward new requirements for modern sports, in order to ensure the smooth progress of quality education reform, school sports theorists have theoretically elaborated the development direction, goal and breakthroughs of school sports: taking quality education as the direction, realizing the idea of lifelong sports as the main goal, taking the field of physical education as the breakthroughs, and taking the mode of physical education teaching, curriculum reform, etc. as the content. as the content. This puts forward higher requirements for our school basketball workers, how can we make students not only relax and enjoyable, but also learn and master the knowledge and sports skills, and carry out basketball activities well after class, these are the school basketball workers should think about.2. Research Objects and Methods2.1 Research Objects:2.1.1 8 middle schools in Zhonglou District, Tianning District, and Xinbei District of Changzhou City.2.1.2 Middle school physical education teachers 4, and 4 full-time teachers and cadres in charge of secondary school physical education work in each district.2.2 Research Methods: 2.2.1 Questionnaire survey: questionnaire survey was carried out among 412 students, physical education teachers, to obtain the basic materials.2.2 Interview survey: visited some of the full-time cadres in charge of secondary school physical education work in the education department of each sub-district of Changzhou City, the leadership and the school basketball workers.3 Analysis of the results 3.1 Secondary school Carrying out basketball activities status quo 3.1.1 Basketball teachers, venues and equipment in some districts of Changzhou City (Table 1) Table 1 Basketball venues and teachers in Bell Tower District, Tianning District and Xinbei District Basketball venues Basketball teachers Number of secondary schools Number of venues Average (pieces) Physical education teachers Basketball teachers ratio (%) Bell Tower 8182.2539410% Tianning 13282.1568710.3% Xinbei 15332.272811.1% Total 36792.191791910.6% From the results of the survey in Table 1, only 19 out of 179 physical education teachers are engaged in basketball teaching; the average number of teachers engaged in basketball teaching in 36 middle schools is 0.528 From the situation of the basketball venue facilities, there are 79 slices of venues in the middle schools in the 3 districts***, and the average slice of venues in each middle school (about 2.19 pieces of space) these 3 districts of secondary schools engaged in basketball teaching teachers to about 2 secondary schools to adopt a, and engaged in basketball training experienced teachers are even less, which obviously has a large gap. This makes it impossible to carry out basketball activities (including training) in a considerable number of secondary schools due to the lack of specialized basketball teachers. Due to the aforementioned weak professional basketball teachers and the lack of venues (basketball courts) in some schools, basketball activities are thus difficult to carry out.3.1.2 Arrangement of Basketball Teaching Materials for Physical Education Classes in Secondary SchoolsThrough a survey of eight secondary schools in Zhonglou, Tianning and Xinbei districts of Changzhou City, it was found that no basketball teaching materials were arranged for physical education classes in two of these secondary schools, and basketball teaching was carried out in the physical education classes of six secondary schools, among which 3 middle schools are arranging the secondary school physical education syllabus for basketball teaching, and 3 middle schools are completing part of the syllabus for basketball in their physical education classes. The basketball textbook for physical education classes in these six middle schools appears as an optional textbook in middle schools and as an option textbook in high schools. It is with teaching plan, content, progress, proportion of hours and so on. Changzhou No.2 Middle School has self-written teaching materials. Since secondary school physical education is conducted in classes, with a large number of people (about 50 per class), a small venue (usually a basketball court), and little equipment, quite a lot of teaching materials can not be implemented, and the teachers can not manage it. Schools that teach basketball according to the syllabus mainly teach some techniques such as dribbling, passing and receiving, shooting from the spot, breaking through, dribbling to the basket, etc., and there is a situation in which junior high schools and senior high schools teach the same materials. For some difficult combination techniques and some tactics, such as jumping up one-handed shooting, grabbing rebounds, defensive techniques and other techniques, offensive and defensive techniques and tactics, they are only carried out in a small number of schools with better venues and separate classes (a class is taught by two teachers).3.1.3 Secondary school students' participation in basketball activities From the surveys of 412 students in 16 middle schools and one vocational and technical school of Changzhou City, it is shown that they are very fond of basketball activities (149), and that they like basketball very much. activities very much (149) and love (55) 204 students, accounting for 49.3% of the surveyed students. Often participate (168 people) and participate in activities (70 people), accounting for 57.7% of the survey. In terms of the time of the activity, there are 105 people who are active for more than 2h per week, accounting for 25.4% of the surveyed students. According to the survey of various physical education teachers in Zhonglou, Tianning, and Xinbei districts and the interviews with full-time cadres in charge of physical education in secondary schools, they believe that: secondary school students are generally interested in basketball activities and have a high enthusiasm for participating in the activities. The age of participants ranges from junior high school to senior high school, and there are many basketball entrants in this age group. In terms of gender, boys were more into it, while girls were a little less so.3.1.4 Secondary School Basketball After-School TrainingThe findings showed that the number of boys' teams that had established regular varsity teams in the eight secondary schools was four, while there were no girls' teams. Two secondary schools, or 25%, trained 3-4 times a week; two secondary schools, or 25%, trained 1-2 times a week; two secondary schools, or 25%, formed temporary teams to cope with competitions; and two secondary schools, or 25%, did not have any varsity teams (due to the lack of professional coaches). To summarize, all 8 middle schools generally have basketball courts, as many as Changzhou No. 2 Middle School, which has 4 standard courts, and as few as 2 basketball courts. The main reason why there is no basketball team is the problem of professional basketball coaching team. Four middle schools have a stable coaching team, so they basically do not have a regular basketball team (boys' team), while two middle schools do not have professional coaches, which results in the absence of a basketball team. In terms of basketball training, 2 secondary schools organized their teams on an ad hoc basis to cope with various competitions. Some of them trained 1-2 times before participating in the competitions, and some of them did not train at all, and the teams were organized and participated in the competitions directly. Among the 8 middle schools (boys' teams), 2 schools train 3-4 times a week, most of them are traditional schools with regular training and games, full-time coaches and training programs, and guaranteed venues and equipment, and normal attendance of players. There are also 2 secondary schools with full-time coaches, but they belong to general school teams and are more casual.3.1.5 Secondary school basketball competition and extracurricular activities According to the survey statistics, in the extracurricular activities of the school, there are 5 schools, accounting for 62.5% of the total number of schools with basketball as the main item (3 items) and basketball as the secondary item (2 items), and there is only 1 school (accounting for 12.5% of the total number of schools) with extracurricular activities, which are sometimes arranged and sometimes not arranged. Basketball competition activities in secondary schools are carried out very unevenly. According to the random survey of 6 secondary schools (mainly Zhonglou and Tianning): 3 secondary schools organize a school-wide competition once a year; 2 secondary schools organize a school-wide competition once a semester; 1 secondary school does not organize a school-wide basketball competition; and 2 secondary schools often organize small and varied basketball activities in extracurricular activities. According to the survey of extracurricular competition activities in secondary schools in Zhonglou, Tianning and Xinbei districts, only one secondary school in Tianning district organizes basketball league for all grades once a year due to the large number of students, fewer venues, and limited competition training venues. Only 3 middle schools in Xinbei District organize a school-wide competition once a year. Zhonglou District basketball competition activities can be carried out, will organize a school-wide secondary school basketball league once a year, but the participating teams are not many, each with 3-4 secondary schools to sign up.3.2 Factors affecting the development of basketball in secondary schools from the survey of 14 physical education teachers in 8 secondary schools Table 2 Table 2 Factors affecting the development of basketball in secondary schools Factors situation factors students study task heavy leadership does not support the parents do not support the students do not like sports funding less teacher enthusiasm. Prefer good sports funding less teacher enthusiasm poor site equipment equipment insufficient proportion (%) 70.1% 42.8% 42.8% 7.1% 57% 14.2% 28.5% Factors affecting the implementation of basketball in secondary schools are mainly the heavy task of students' study, can not find the time (70.1%); the school leadership is not supportive (42.8%); parents are not supportive (42.8%); the students do not prefer (7.1%); sports funding is not supportive parents are not supportive students do not prefer (7.1%); sports funding is not supportive parents are not supportive students do not prefer ( 7.1%); sports funding is small (57%); teachers' motivation is not high (14.2%); basketball court, equipment, equipment is insufficient (28.5%) Zhonglou District, Tianning District, responsible for secondary school sports cadres believe that: a number of factors affecting the development of activities, the first of which is that the current students' learning burden is too heavy, too many make-up classes, students can not find the time to participate in the activities, especially in the junior high school, senior high school, these two grades more The teachers of Zhonglou District also believe that Teachers in Zhonglou District also believe that, as schools are taking more and more tests, parents are making more and more efforts to hire tutors to make up lessons, so they do not allow their children to participate in basketball activities at all. Teachers in Xinbei District think that the main difficulty is the venue, as long as there are venues and equipment, with some of the funds is not a big problem.4. Countermeasures to carry out basketball activities in the future 4.1 Awareness-raising, updating the concept of dealing with the relationship between learning and participating in basketball activities.4.2 From the secondary school school school leaders, classroom teachers, physical education teachers and the students themselves, to realize that participating in basketball or other sports activities can promote the development of the student's intellect to improve cultural learning achievements, to rationalize the arrangements for the students to participate in basketball activities. Cultural learning achievements, to rationalize the time, to promote each other, *** with the improvement. In this, the key lies in the attention of secondary school leaders.4.3 Fully mobilize the enthusiasm of secondary school physical education teachers, solve the difficulties in carrying out basketball activities, play its role in organizing and guiding, and hold training courses for all kinds of backbones (such as organizing competitions, basketball referees, basketball instructors, etc.) required for carrying out basketball activities, so as to ensure that the needs of carrying out basketball activities are guaranteed from the operational point of view.4.4 Strengthening construction of secondary school gymnasiums and equipment configuration 4.5 Strengthen teacher training, improve the physical education teacher's own quality 4.6 Districts and counties to develop traditional or key basketball schools, by the city, district and county departments concerned to give support in all aspects. It is possible to take the path of combining sports (with sports schools) and teaching, carry out formal basketball training, and vigorously cultivate basketball talents.5.
