The difference between part-time and part-time graduate students

The differences between part-time and part-time graduate students are as follows:

On-the-job postgraduate students refer to a type of postgraduate academic education in which employees work part of the time and study in school part of the time. There are differences between categories in terms of registration, examination requirements and admissions methods. Therefore, in-service graduate students generally refer to graduate students who are applied for by working people, which belongs to the classification of applicants; while full-time graduate students and part-time graduate students refer to the classification of learning methods.

The current national standards for the category of learning methods are: full-time and part-time. In the past, full-time was called off-the-job, and part-time was also called on-the-job and non-off-the-job.

After passing the national master's unified admissions examination and being admitted to a higher education institution or other higher education institution with qualifications to implement postgraduate education, you can obtain a general higher education graduate student status and study in a flexible time within the basic study period or the school's prescribed period. Graduate students who obtain general higher education graduate diplomas and corresponding graduate degree certificates after completing their credits. Part-time graduate students are different from on-the-job graduate students. Traditional on-the-job graduate students only have a degree certificate but no graduation certificate.

After 2017, part-time graduate students will be established on the basis of full-time graduate education. Part-time postgraduate students and full-time postgraduate students have the same academic qualifications as general higher education. They must pass the national unified admissions examination for master's degree students. They both belong to the unified admissions and unified score plan. After graduation, they will also obtain the dual certificates of general higher education postgraduate diploma and degree certificate. The two only differ in their learning methods.

Full-time and part-time general postgraduate students are subject to the same examination admission policy, training and graduation standards. The academic certificates and degree certificates of both have the same legal status and the same validity.
