According to the Intangible Cultural Heritage Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), Chongqing Hotpot is an intangible cultural heritage of Chongqing. Chongqing hot pot traditional production technology is the sixth batch of municipal intangible cultural heritage representative projects in Chongqing. In 2009, Chongqing hot pot was selected as the second batch of municipal intangible cultural heritage projects in Chongqing, and Chongqing hot pot, as an intangible culture, was truly protected and passed down.
