1. Differences between emerging service industries and traditional service industries

(1) Traditional service industry

Traditional service industry refers to industries that provide various services for people's daily life, such as catering industry, hotel industry and commerce.

(2) Emerging service industries

Emerging service industry came into being in the relatively developed stage of industry, and developed mainly by information technology and modern management concepts, which is the product of the combination of information technology and service industry. Specifically, it includes two categories:

One is the emerging forms of service industry directly caused by informatization and other scientific and technological development, such as computer and software services, mobile communication services, information consulting services, health industry, ecological industry, education and training, conferences and exhibitions, international business, modern logistics and so on.

The other is the service forms derived from the transformation of traditional service industries through the application of information technology, such as modern financial industries such as banking, securities, trust, insurance and leasing, real estate industries such as construction, decoration and property, and intermediary services such as accounting, auditing, evaluation and legal services. They organically link social production, distribution and consumption through their own various service functions, and accelerate the operation of people flow, logistics, information flow and capital flow.
