Government function: Also known as administrative function, it refers to the responsibilities and functions that the administrative subject, as the law enforcement organ managed by the state, should undertake when managing the country's political, economic and social affairs according to law. It embodies the basic content and direction of public administration activities and reflects the essence of public administration.

Government economic function: refers to the function and role of the government in overall planning, coordination, service and supervision of the national economy from the macro perspective of social and economic life. It is the general name of the methods, ways and means to organize and intervene in social and economic activities in order to achieve a certain goal.

Cultural function: refers to the government's management of cultural undertakings according to law to meet the people's growing cultural life needs. It is an important guarantee to strengthen the construction of socialist spiritual civilization and promote the coordinated development of economy and society.

Public service function: providing public goods and services, including strengthening the construction of urban and rural public facilities, developing public utilities such as social employment, social security services, education, science and technology, culture, health, sports, etc., releasing public information, and providing guarantees and creating conditions for public life and participation in social, economic, political and cultural activities.

Ecological function: strengthen the construction of ecological civilization and increase the control of the environment.
