At the age of eight, he joined the art world. He first learned storytelling from Gao Qinghai, a storytelling elder, and later followed crosstalk celebrities.

During Feng Xue's crosstalk, he devoted himself to studying Peking Opera, Pingju Opera, Hebei Bangzi and other operas, and moved to Liyuan.
