The Service Mode of Wenzhou University Library

In order to realize the modernization and standardization of library management, libraries should set up posts according to their needs and compete for posts, and strive to optimize the allocation of human resources. After careful study and adjustment, the library has set up five departments: comprehensive department, editing department, information technology department, circulation department and reading department. With the expansion of the school scale and the increase of the number of readers, the library strives to tap the potential, constantly improve the service mode and improve the utilization rate of literature information resources. There are 9 reading rooms and stacks in the library. The staff of the whole library have established a "reader-oriented" service consciousness and actively overcome various difficulties. The staff reduction and efficiency increase of stacks greatly extended the opening hours of service windows and met the needs of readers to the greatest extent.

Implement the credit training plan for information literacy extracurricular education. According to the spirit of "Measures for the Management of Credits in Extracurricular Education Projects of Wenzhou University", the library implemented the information literacy extra-curricular education credit training plan on 20 14. The plan is designed for undergraduates of all grades in various colleges, and selects "search engines, free network resources, various databases, reference management tools for thesis writing" and other contents close to students' needs and interests, and holds information literacy training lectures in the lecture hall every Wednesday afternoon. Undergraduates have completed 10 information literacy lectures with different contents in two years, and can get 1 extra-curricular credits after certification.

Actively publicize the construction of digital resources and introduce their use methods, and pay attention to information services under the conditions of modern information technology. Carry out various forms of publicity activities, organize student volunteers to participate in the library's business work and publicity activities, and carry out popular science activities and reading salons such as "Publicity and popularization of digital resources and video databases in Wenzhou University Library", "Popularization of grassroots social sciences in Wenzhou University Readers Association and Luoshan Reading Club" to promote teacher-student exchanges.
