What are the key technologies of UAV?

UAV has five key technologies, namely, airframe structure design technology, airframe material technology, flight control technology, wireless communication remote control technology and wireless image transmission technology, which support the development and perfection of modern intelligent UAV.

Aircraft structural design technology: aircraft structural strength research and ground verification test of full-scale aircraft structural strength. In the research of aircraft structural strength technology, it includes fatigue fracture resistance and reliability design technology of aircraft structure, dynamic strength of aircraft structure, composite structural strength, aviation noise, comprehensive environmental strength of aircraft structure, aircraft structural test technology and computational structure technology.

Airframe material technology: airframe materials (including structural materials and non-structural materials), engine materials and coatings, the most important of which are airframe structural materials and engine materials. Structural materials should have high specific strength and stiffness to reduce the structural weight of aircraft, improve flight performance or increase economic benefits, and should also have good machinability to facilitate the manufacture of required parts. Non-structural materials are few and varied, such as glass, plastic, textiles, rubber, aluminum alloy, magnesium alloy, copper alloy and stainless steel.

Flight control technology: GPS differential positioning system providing three-dimensional position and time data of UAV, state sensor providing real-time state data of UAV, airborne microwave communication data link receiving remote control instructions of UAV ground monitoring system and sending telemetry data, and flight control computer controlling UAV to complete automatic navigation and mission planning. The flight control computer is connected with attitude sensor, GPS differential system, state sensor and airborne microwave communication data link respectively. The utility model adopts integrated digital bus control technology, microwave data link and GPS navigation and positioning technology, so that the UAV platform can meet various low-altitude rapid monitoring requirements on land and sea.

Wireless communication remote control technology: UAV communication generally adopts microwave communication. Microwave is a kind of radio wave, and its transmission distance can generally reach tens of kilometers. The frequency band is generally 902-928 MHz, and MDSEL805 is common. Reliable frequency hopping digital radio stations are generally used to realize wireless remote control.

Wireless image transmission technology: COFDM modulation mode is adopted, and the frequency band is generally 300MHZ, so as to transmit high-definition video images back to the ground in real time, such as NV30 1. (Golden Eagle UAV)
