WhAT do at, MT, DCT and CVT mean in cars?
MT is a manual gear. AT is an automatic gear, usually with four or six gears. The shift is automatically controlled, and there is no clutch. DCT is a dual clutch, which is equivalent to two manual gears engaged in an automatic shift. Without a clutch, there are usually six or seven gears. CVT is relatively high-end, without clutch and gear, and the speed ratio is automatically controlled.
