Chinese medicine nursing: stomach cancer in drug treatment

1) Liver-stomach disharmony syndrome.

Substantiation: distension and pain in stomach and epigastrium, scurrying pain in both hypochondriums, eructation and vomiting, sunken and thin pulse, pale tongue and yellow moss.

Treatment: soothe the liver and harmonize the stomach, and reduce the pain.

Formulas: Add flavor of Free and Easy San (Taiping Huimin Hejie Bingfang), Chai Hu, Xiang Fu, Bai Shao, Guang Mu Xiang, Citrus aurantium, Hou Pu, Qing Chen Pi, Neem Zi, Descending Fragrance, Xuan Fu Hua, Ochre, Semixia, Huang Lian, Mu Gua, Sinking Fragrance.

Use and dosage: 1 dose daily, decoction with water.

Analysis: This formula is based on Chai Hu, Paeonia lactiflora, Neem Zizi, Guang Mu Xiang, Xiang Fu, and Qing Chen Pi to soothe the liver, regulate qi and relieve depression; Cyclamen, Ochre, Semixia, Huang Lian, Descending Fragrance, Shen Xiang to reduce reversal and relieve pain; and Huperzia, Citrus aurantium, and Papaya to harmonize the middle and remove dampness. Once the liver and stomach are harmonized, the pain will be reduced and stop.

2) Qi stagnation and blood stasis.

The main evidence: burning pain in the stomach and epigastric region, pain in a fixed place, the heart of the lump refuses to be pressed, thirst, fever, heartburn, dry and black, medical education network collection of the tongue purple or petechiae, petechiae, moss, or yellow, the pulse is thin and astringent or string.

Treatment: regulate qi and activate blood, anti-cancer and detoxification.

Prescription: Tongyi Tang ("Treatise on Spleen and Stomach"), 15g of peach kernel, 10g of safflower, 30g of Radix et Rhizoma Shengdi, 30g of Radix Rehmanniae Praeparata, 30g of Radix Angelicae Sinensis, 10g of Rhizoma Rhei, 15g of Citrus aurantium, 15g of Magnolia officinalis, 15g of Semen Aristolochiae, 30g of Cortex Piperis, 30g of Cortex Piperis, 30g of Cortex Piperitiae, 10g of Fructus Lycii, 10g of Fructus Glycyrrhizae, 6g of Ginger Juice, 6g of Leek Juice.

Analysis : Tong Yu Tang treats pyloric obstruction due to heat in the stomach and turbid qi not descending. It uses raw dihuang, ripened dihuang, angelica to nourish blood and moisten dryness; peach kernel, safflower to invigorate blood and moisten dryness; rhubarb, citrus aurantium, Houpuo to pass the internal organs and drain heat; ascending hemp, roasted licorice to elevate clearness and lower turbidity; white flower snakebane, seven-leafed one-flower to anticancer detoxification, ginger juice, leek juice, pungent and warm to dissipate the blood stasis. This formula is 1 dose per day, decoct the juice and concentrate it to 300ml, punch into the wife juice, leek juice, and take it 6-8 times frequently. It is advisable to drink a small amount of sip for those who have gas stagnation and blood stasis in stomach cancer.

3) Certificate of phlegm-qi stagnation.

Substantiation: distension or hidden pain in chest and epigastric region, poor eating, even regurgitation, tastelessness in mouth, loss of appetite, white and greasy tongue coating, slippery pulse.

Treatment: resolving phlegm and regulating qi, softening and dispersing hard lumps.

Remedy: Cyclopentadiene Ochre Soup (The Treatise on Typhoid Fever) plus subtractions, Cyclopentadiene, Ochre, Raw Oyster, Kombu, Seaweeds, Fenmu Tetrapentadi, Stiff Silkworms, Cannonball A Slice, Shan Cixi Nun, Semen Ziziphiroxylon, Calculated Corrugated Corrugated, Raw Semen Xialia, Shihmu Xia, Shou Guan, and White Flower Snake Tongue Cao.

Analysis: This formula combats phlegm by lowering qi and resolving phlegm, softening and dispersing knots with raw oyster, kombu, seaweed, mountain cucumber, and shellac, disrupting cancer and detoxifying toxin, and dispelling wind and spasm, resolving phlegm and dispersing knots with woodworms and stiletto. The whole formula not only lowering the stomach erosion and anti-cancer, swelling.

4) Stomach heat injuring yin evidence.

Substantiation: burning pain in stomach and epigastric region, noisy stomach and epigastric region, poor appetite and coldness, dry mouth and drinking, vomiting blood, hot flashes and night sweating, heat in hands and feet and heart, disturbed and insomnia, urine is less and yellow, stool is dry and knotty, tongue is reddish-red or with little moss, no moss or grayish-black dry moss, and pulse is thin and countless.

Treatment: nourishing Yin and clearing heat, nourishing the stomach and moistening dryness. Zhi Gan Cao, Bamboo Root and neutralize and lower the rebelliousness. Garcinia Cambogia clears away heat and toxins, activates blood circulation and reduces swelling. It is suitable for patients with impaired stomach yin.

5) Spleen and stomach cold syndrome.

The main evidence: hidden pain in the stomach and epigastric region, like to press and like warmth, vomiting in the morning after eating, or vomiting in the evening after eating, vomiting water, the color of the face is white, or cold limbs, tiredness and weakness, swollen and loose stools, the tongue is pale and fat, there are teeth marks, the moss is white and slippery, the pulse is slow or stringy, thin and weak.

Treatment: warming the middle and dispersing cold, strengthening the spleen and harmonizing the stomach.

Prescription: Lizhong Tang ("The Treatise on Typhoid Fever", combined with the six gentleman's soup "school note women's prescription") plus subtractions, Codonopsis 15g, atractylodes macrocephala 10g, 3g of dry ginger, red cardamom kernel 10g, Cornus officinalis 6g, 6g of cloves, persimmon 12g, sandalwood 6g, cinnamon 5g, the production of 6g of sliced appendicitis, Fuxia 9g, hokkasi 6g, Shimianxian 30g, Ziying 15g, semicircumcision 15g.

Added subtractions: the pain is severe, add the spleen and the stomach, the pain is fat.

Analysis: Codonopsis, Atractylodes macrocephala, Dry Ginger, Cardamom Nut, Cornu Cervi Pantotrichum, Clove, Sandalwood, Cinnamon, Succinum Warming the middle and strengthening the spleen, Fazha, Chebullemnia transforming dampness and astringing the intestines and Shimitsuka, Baoying, Semen Zygophyllum detoxification in order to fight against the cancer.

6) Evidence of double deficiency of qi and blood.

Substantiation: generalized weakness, palpitation, shortness of breath, dizziness, yellowish face, lack of splendor, insomnia, spontaneous sweating and night sweating, or even swelling of limbs, pale tongue with little moss, and thin and feeble pulse.

Treatment: tonifying Qi and nourishing Blood.

Prescription: Ba Zhen Tang (Dan Xi Xin Fa) with addition and subtraction of Astragalus 30g, Codonopsis 30g, Atractylodes Macrocephalae 10g, Poria 10g, Radix Angelicae Sinensis 15g, Radix Rehmanniae Praeparatae 12g, Paeonia lactiflora 15g, Zi He Chess 10g, Rhizoma Polygonatum 15g, Colla Corii Asini (melted) 10g, White Flowering Snake Grass 30g.

Addition and subtraction: add Bletilla hyacinthica 12g, Zao Xin Tu (cloth bag) 15g if there are also black stools.

Analysis: Astragalus, Radix et Rhizoma Ginseng, Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae, Poria benefit the qi and strengthen the spleen; Radix Angelicae Sinensis, Radix Rehmanniae Praeparata, Radix Paeoniae Alba, Rhizoma Zizoma, Rhizoma Polygonatum, Colla Corii Asini nourish yin and nourish the blood, and Rhizoma Polygonatum Odoratum detoxify the toxins and fight cancer.
