What are the conductive materials?
Ions in acid, alkali and brine solutions are easy to conduct electricity; Conductivity of ionic compounds in solution: ionic compounds conduct electricity after melting, and metals and graphite are the most common types of conductors.
Generally speaking, metals, semiconductors, electrolyte solutions or molten electrolytes and some nonmetals can conduct electricity.
The order of metal conductivity from strong to weak is:
Silver, copper, gold, aluminum, nickel, steel, lead, magnesium, zinc, molybdenum, yttrium, tungsten and cobalt.
The reason is related to the metal bond of each element.
In other words, the stronger the metal bond, the better the conductivity.
Silver has the best conductivity, followed by copper and gold.
