What does the automobile engine starting system include?
The automobile starting system consists of battery, ignition switch, starting relay and starter. The function of the starting system is to convert the electric energy of the battery into mechanical energy through the starter to start the engine. Battery refers to all chemical energy batteries, which can be recharged and reused after using a certain amount of electricity. The reason why it can be charged is that its chemical action can be reversed after being connected to an external power supply. The ignition switch is the main circuit that can turn on or off the ignition coil freely, and is also suitable for other electrical system circuits. The starting relay controls the on-off of the electromagnetic switch circuit of the starter through the contact of the starting relay, and the starting switch only controls the coil circuit of the starting relay, thus protecting the starting switch. The starting switch has single connection type and compound type.
