Guided Classical Books Provenance

Qigong term. It is also known as dao guiding and guiding. It is a fitness and disease treatment method to harmonize form and spirit through the movement of the limbs, and belongs to the category of ancient qigong movement. It is characterized by "guiding the qi to make it harmonious, and leading the body to make it soft". Guiding has a long history in China.

The "Guiding Diagram" unearthed from the No. 3 Western Han Tomb in Changsha's Mawangdui in 1974 contains diagrams of more than 40 kinds of guiding postures. Sui Chao Yuanfang's "Treatise on the Origin and Condition of All Diseases" contains more than 260 kinds of guiding methods for curing diseases.

①This refers to the ancient art of prolonging life, which can be found in Zhuangzi ji xie: "Guiding the divine qi, nourishing the prana with the form, the way of prolonging life, and the art of residing in the form".

It is called Dao-guiding. To active body movement, and with the breathing movement or self-tui na and carry out a kind of exercise, prevention and treatment of disease, is also an ancient health care method, later for the Taoist inheritance.

Changsha Mawangdui No. 3 Han Tomb unearthed in the "guide map" painted more than 40 kinds of guide posture images. Sui Chao Yuanfang's "Treatise on the Origin and Condition of Various Diseases" contains more than two hundred and sixty guiding methods.

Book title. ①The silk painting from the early Western Han Dynasty, unearthed from the No. 3 Han Tomb at Mawangdui, Changsha, in 1973, is the earliest guiding atlas in China to date. The original painting on silk is about 100 centimeters long connected with the 40-centimeter silk book in the front section. The height of the painting is 40 centimeters. There are forty-four guiding images of various figures, divided into four layers, each layer has 11 small pictures. The average height of each small picture is 9 to 12 centimeters. Each small picture is a portrait of a person, male or female, old or young, either clothed or with bare back, all painted in brushstrokes.

Except for the individual portraits for instrumental exercise, most of them are unarmed exercises. There are eight drawings involving animals. Birds are the most numerous, accounting for four pictures, counting birds, harriers, cranes, sparrows. Apes and monkeys are the next most common, with two figures. In addition, there is a dragon and a bear. Contrasted with the five birds of prey lack of deer and tiger. There is no picture name, the current name is set by the Mawangdui Han Tomb Palindrome finishing group.

Qigong works. The author is unknown. 1 vol. Ming Hu Wenhuan. Published in 1592. This book is divided into stroke, wind paralysis, heart and abdominal pain, tonic and other 27 doors, detailing 119 kinds of all diseases guide method. Before the Ming Dynasty, all kinds of gong methods were systematically summarized, and for the same disease, many kinds of guiding methods were listed, so as to facilitate the identification and application of gong. Spleen Disease Guide: Sit with one foot extended and one foot flexed. Put the second hand behind the backswitch, each three to five degrees. Kneeling, both hands according to the ground, force review, tiger's eye three or five degrees. Bile Disease Guidance: Sit flat, close the palms of the feet and tilt the head.
