Where did crosstalk originate? Tianjin?

Crosstalk originated in North China, popular in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, and spread all over the country and at home and abroad. 1, Zhang Sanlu, is the earliest crosstalk artist with written records in today's society. According to relevant records and speculation, Zhang Sanlu was originally an octagonal drum clown artist, and later switched to cross talk. His artistic career began in Daoguang period of Qing Dynasty.
