What are the treatment principles of liver cirrhosis?
(1) Reasonable diet and nutrition: A reasonable diet and nutrition for patients with liver cirrhosis is conducive to restoring the function of liver cells and stabilizing the disease. A high-quality and high-protein diet can reduce the decomposition of protein in the body, promote the synthesis of protein in the liver, and maintain the metabolic balance of protein. Protein food should be strictly restricted if the liver function is obviously decreased or there is a precursor of hepatic encephalopathy. Adequate sugar supply can not only protect the liver, but also enhance the body's resistance and reduce protein decomposition. Liver function declines, fat metabolism is disordered, and a low-fat diet is needed, otherwise it is easy to form fatty liver. A diet rich in vitamins and trace elements can meet the needs of the body.
(2) Improve liver function: Abnormal transaminase and bilirubin of liver function suggest liver cell damage, and should be treated with integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine according to the treatment principle of hepatitis. Rational use of vitamin C, B vitamins, inosine, silybin, diammonium glycyrrhizinate, Yinzhihuang, Astragalus, Salvia miltiorrhiza, Cordyceps, Ganoderma lucidum, Polyporus polysaccharide and other drugs.
(3) Anti-hepatic fibrosis therapy: In recent years, domestic research and application of drugs such as Radix Astragali, Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae, and hepatocyte growth-promoting hormone to treat hepatic fibrosis and early cirrhosis have achieved good results. Penicillamine is not recommended because of its uncertain curative effect and many adverse reactions. Colchicine also has a certain effect on liver fibrosis.
(4) Active prevention and treatment of complications: There are many complications in decompensated cirrhosis, which can lead to serious consequences. For complications such as esophageal varices, ascites, hepatic encephalopathy and complicated infection, effective methods should be selected according to the specific conditions of patients.
