Write a composition about Longmen Grottoes by imitating Dunhuang murals.
I didn't get up early when my father told me to take me to visit the Longmen Grottoes in Luoyang on Sunday morning. I jumped out of bed for joy at once.
The weather is exceptionally sunny, and my father is driving along expressway. After two or three hours of running, we finally arrived at Longmen Grottoes, a famous scenic spot in Luoyang. As soon as we entered the scenic spot, crowds of tourists first came into view. Then we found a tour guide. While watching, we listened to the tour guide explain the origin of Longmen Grottoes: Longmen Grottoes is located on the bank of the Yi River in the southern suburbs of Luoyang City, Henan Province. From the Northern Wei Dynasty to the Northern Song Dynasty, more than 2 100 grottoes were dug, with more than 65,438+10,000 statues and more than 3,600 inscriptions. It not only embodies Buddhist culture, but also reflects Buddhist culture. Along the way, almost all the stone walls are carved with large and small Buddha statues, some lying, some standing, some smiling, some angry ... in various forms.
Following the guide's introduction, we came to the largest Buddha statue of Lushena in Longmen Grottoes. In front of the Buddha statue of Lushena, people will feel very small. The tour guide said that the Buddha statue is more than 17 meters high and its head is more than 4 meters high. His facial expression looks charitable and peaceful, as if praying for our motherland.
Then we visited famous scenic spots, such as Qianxi Temple, Binyang Middle Cave, Wanfo Cave and Lianhua Cave. Among them, there is a smallest Buddha statue in the Lotus Cave, only two centimeters in size, which is called "micro-sculpture".
Unconsciously, it's past 4 pm to see the whole scenic spot, but I'm not tired at all. I am proud that our ancestors left us this magnificent treasure!
