What are the similarities and differences between the attributes of "traditional text" and "tlf text"?

Starting from FLAsh Professional CS5, you can use the new text engine-Text Layout Framework (TLF) to add text to Fla files. TLF supports richer text layout functions and fine control of text attributes. Compared with the previous text engine (now called traditional text), TLF text can strengthen the control of text.

Compared with traditional text, TLF text provides the following enhancements:

More character styles, including line spacing, hyphen, highlight color, underline, strikethrough, case, number format, etc.

More paragraph styles, including support for multiple columns through column spacing, last line alignment options, margins, indents, paragraph spacing, and container fill values.

Control more Asian font properties, including vertical and horizontal layout, punctuation squeezing, head-tail avoidance rule types and line spacing model.

You can apply 3D rotation, color effects, and blending modes to TLF text without putting it in a movie clip symbol.

Text can be arranged in multiple text containers in sequence. These containers are called concatenated text containers or linked text containers.

Ability to create right-to-left text for Arabic and Hebrew characters.

Supports bidirectional text, where right-to-left text can contain elements of left-to-right text. This function is very important when English words or Arabic numerals are embedded in Arabic or Hebrew texts.
