1. Dichotomy is to divide an original population into two groups according to the same number of bees and spleen. The advantage of this method is that both groups of bees are composed of bees of all ages, which will not destroy their normal life rules, and the group potential will increase rapidly in the future; The disadvantage is that the bee colony becomes weak from strong and the productivity decreases. In order not to affect the production, it is generally carried out 45 days before the honey flow period. The specific operation method is: two new groups are placed on both sides of the original group, and the spleen and honey powder spleen are equally divided. One group kept the original queen bee, and the other group lured the new queen bee the next day. 4. The advantages are that it can make full use of the feeding ability of the strong bee colony and the oviposition ability of the new queen bee without affecting the normal development of the strong bee colony, and it can also obtain a certain number of new bee colonies in a short time, thus expanding the production scale.

No matter what method is used to divide bees, the population potential of new colonies is generally weak, and the ability to adjust nest temperature, breed insects, collect and defend is poor, so management should be strengthened.
